FY 2005 Native American CDFI Technical Assistance Grant |

September 2005 - SOAR Growth Capital has been awarded an FY 2005 Native American CDFI Technical Assistance Grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury Community Development Financial Assistance Institutions Fund. SOAR Growth Capital, LLC, of Scottsdale, AZ, seeks to create a certified community development financial institution that will provide venture capital to businesses in Native Communities. SOAR will use the technical assistance grant to: | | Develop all legal documentation required for the fund's formation. | | | Develop governance bodies, and policies and procedures. | | | Conduct education and outreach programs for tribes and other Native communities. | | | Establish a nationwide web-based communication base for Tribes, their businesses, and Tribal entrepreneurs to access the fund. | | | Purchase fund administration, accounting, and reporting software. |
